Currier & Ives and American Print Publishing in the 19th Century

Robert K. Newman, Researcher, Cataloguer, and President, The Old Print Shop, Inc., New York

$10 (members $8)

Founded in 1898, The Old Print Shop has been collecting, researching, and selling American prints for more than a century, many of which were the prints of Currier & Ives and others. Join print expert Newman for a discussion on American print publishing, especially lithographic publishing in the 19th century.  He will highlight these five publishers: The Pendletons (1824-1836), Endicott et al (circa 1830-1896), The Kelloggs et al (1830-1880), Nathaniel Currier – Currier & Ives (1834-1907), and John Buford (1835-1871).
