The show's display juxtaposes objects that originate from diverse American contexts in order to create new meaning, provoking timely questions about history and contemporary culture. Hear about groupings that tackle topics like patriotism, the racialized landscape, gender constructs, and the surrealist body, with artists Mary Cassatt, John Singleton Copley, Robert S.
